Being shortlisted for BBC Music's Sound of 2016 is no easy feat but WSTRN, a west London-based collective, have managed to do just that.

The trio - made up of cousins Akelle Charles and Haile and friend Louis Rei - released their debut single In2 in November 2015, which peaked at number 4 on the UK singles chart. The group have secured some big gigs this Christmas, including Capital's Jingle Bell Ball, and it's expected they will embark on a solo tour in the next 12 months. With fans already including Rita Ora and Lily Allen, and with their record creeping up Radio 1's playlist, expect to hear a lot more from them in 2016.
